You use this activity to log and edit nonconformances against a single or multiple SFC numbers outside of the POD without some of the customary validation enforced when logging a nonconformance from the POD.

Rules

The following table describes rules and settings that you can change for this activity in Activity Maintenance:

NC_CLIENT

The name of the Log NC client that is displayed

OPERATION_REQUIRED

Indicates if the Operation field must contain a value before the record can be saved

RESOURCE_REQUIRED

Indicates if the Resource field must contain a value before the record can be saved

Fields

Initial Screen

Failure Data Tree

If NC client is configured to enable Failure Data Tree, displays NC records and associated data, according to the settings defined in Nonconformance category of List Maintenance

Select NC Batch

Allows selecting primary NC codes the secondary NC code should be associated with

NC Code

Displays NC codes available for logging against an SFC number

Comments

Provides the ability to log the comments associated with this SFC number. Can be later viewed from the SFC Detail Report.

As-Built

Provides link to As-Built Configuration where you can optionally remove and add components

Note that this link appears on the screen depending on the settings defined in NC Client Maintenance.

New Primary

Creates new primary nonconformance

Add

Adds new primary or secondary nonconformance. If Failure Data Tree is enabled, updates it with a new record.

Add-Done

Adds a new primary or secondary nonconformance, completes the session, dispositions the SFC number (if enabled) and clears the screen

Work Instructions

Displays work instructions set in NC Client Maintenance
