You can use this activity to change the labor charge code (LCC) that the system is currently using to track your time when you are not working on SFC numbers. Follow the requirements of your shop floor or department for changing your labor charge codes. You can associate the Change User LCC (LT230) with its own pushbutton in POD Maintenance (see POD Maintenance).

When you first clock in, the system begins tracking your time using the default labor charge code assigned to you (see Setting Up Default User LCCs). If you are a production operator using the POD, as you start and complete SFC numbers, the system tracks your time using the LCC assigned to each SFC number. The LCC is the same for all SFC numbers in a shop order. When you complete or sign off all active SFC numbers, the system resumes tracking your time using either your default LCC or the code you last entered in this activity. When you clock out, the system stops tracking your time.

If you do not use the POD, or if you want to tell the system you are performing other work such as moving to Rework, or that you are going on a break or to lunch, use this activity to change your LCC. For work other than what you record in the POD, you should change your LCC each time you begin a task with a labor charge code different from the one for your current task.
