The billing request is a document containing the expenditures to be billed. These expenditures appear as items in the billing request.

You can create a billing request for:

• Sales orders
• Customer projects
• Service orders without reference to a sales order

The hierarchical structure of the objects evaluated for a sales order item (internal orders and service orders) in a sales order; WBS elements, activities, internal orders and service orders for customer projects) create the billing structure.
