Prerequisites

The following data has been created in the system:

      The general routing header data.

      The work centers at which the operations and suboperations are to be carried out

      If necessary, standard texts that you can adopt in the long texts of operations and suboperations

Procedure

...

       1.      Call up the operation overview.

       2.      Enter the data for the operations and suboperations on the operation overview.

In the following table you can see:

   Which fields are relevant to operations and which to suboperations

   Which fields are liable to be prepopulated with a default value

You can change each of these default values in the routing unless the reference indicator has been set for the default value in the work center. If necessary you can also change the planning profile in the routing.

       3.      You can assign execution steps (XSteps) to the operations to describe the concrete execution (see Assign XSteps in the Application).

       4.      Save the routing.
The system saves the routing.

Caution

If you have not entered data that - according to the input rule - should or must be entered in the work center for an operation or suboperation, the Check Operation screen automatically appears. In this case, enter the necessary data and choose Continue. The system will then save the routing.
