Procedure documentation Dismantling Non-Serialized Material with Simultaneous Material Movement  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You want to remove a non-serialized material from a superordinate piece of equipment and add it to stock.

Prerequisites

The superordinate equipment must be an equipment BOM header with Configuration Control usage.

Procedure

...

       1.      Choose Logistics Plant Maintenance Maintenance of Technical Objects Configuration Control Installation and Dismantling of Components from the SAP Easy Access screen.

       2.      In the mode list field, select Dismantle Non-Ser. Mat. with Material Movement if the appropriate screen is not automatically displayed.

       3.      Enter a material number in the Material group box, and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Enter.

       4.      Enter the quantity to be dismantled.

       5.      Enter the current installation location of the corresponding material.

       6.      Enter either a reservation or a movement type.

       7.      Enter a reference order, if required.

       8.      Select an event type and a part status on the Notification tab page.

       9.      If you want to simulate the removal before saving, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Check. You can display the search result in a full screen application log. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Application Log to do this.

   10.      Save your entries.

Note

You cannot choose forced removal for this mode

Result

      The non-serialized material is removed from the equipment BOM header and the corresponding material is placed into storage. If the corresponding Business Add-In is active, a notification is generated or updated.

      After the non-serialized material is dismantled, a structure gap is automatically generated or its quantity is increased.

      If the corresponding BAdI is active, a notification is generated or updated.
