Non-Serialized Parts in the Equipment BOM 

Use

The Configuration Control Workbench supports non-serialized parts, which must belong to an equipment BOM. You can explode BOM items in the actual configuration in the Configuration Control Workbench.

Prerequisites

●      You must make the following Customizing settings in the BOM Customizing transaction occm1 to enable you to use the equipment BOM function in the Configuration Control Workbench:

○       Set the indicator BOM Mode Allowed

○       Usage Type: C

○       Application: CC01

○       Define the Stock Item category. Default is L.

●      The equipment BOM must be plant-independent. You can make this setting in the equipment BOM master.
