Definition

History-relevant change to the master record of a piece of equipment. The change affects the usage data. Each equipment history thereby comprises several events.

The following event types exist:

·        Installation

·        Dismantling

·        Replacement (corresponds to dismantling and installation at the same time)

·        Field change (for example, work center)

Use

You can always tell from the administrative data of an event which user was responsible for changing a piece of equipment and when:

·        For the creation date and change date of an event, the system uses the date on which the backdated changes to the equipment history were executed. For the user name, the system takes the name of the user who made the changes.

·        If backdated changes are made to an equipment history over the course of several days, or by several users, the system always saves the user for an event, and the date on which the event was processed.

·        For data that is inherited from a superordinate object, the system takes the date and the user from the change to the superordinate object.

Note

Functional locations do not have a history. If you choose functional location as the installation location when you are changing an equipment history, the system always uses the current data of the functional location for inheritance purposes. Historical changes to functional locations cannot be reconstructed.
