  1. Determine which shop papers should be proposed for selection at printing.

To do this, select Print Control Define Shop Papers, Forms, Print Programs Assign Permitted Shop Papers.

  1. Define the user-specific print defaults.

Define the shop papers to be printed depending on the user and specify how a shop paper should be output:

The shop paper will be printed on the printer that is defined by the administrators.

Enter the country code and the fax number for this.

In this case the shop paper is archived optically.

For this select Print Control Define Printer Set User-Specific Print Defaults. These settings are default values and can be changed during printing.

  1. Activate print diversion for notifications and orders.

Using the print diversion, define special printers and print parameters for individual shop papers depending on certain field contents.

Select Print Control Define Printer Define Print Diversion and in a further step Print Diversion According to Field Contents.

  1. Activate the delta print for orders.

This means that only the operations or components, that do not yet have the status printed, are printed.

To do this, select Define Shop Papers, Forms, Print Programs Define Shop Papers. Enter O for orders as the application area.

  1. Activate print online, if necessary for test purposes.

For this select Print Control Activate Printing in Online Processing.

If you activate online processing, all the shop papers from the dialog program and not from the update program are printed. The settings that you make apply to all the clients.

You should use online printing only for test purposes, for example, for in-house development of print programs.
