Settings for Printing Shop Papers
Purpose
This process describes what settings you must make in order to be able to print
shop papers for notifications and orders. Shop papers are created using SAPscript forms. In the standard there are standard forms, whose layout you can adjust to meet your requirements.You must make all your settings in Customizing:
Prerequisites
You have installed a printer in the SAP system. You can find further information under
Defining Devices for Frontend Printing.
Process Flow
To do this, select Print Control → Define Shop Papers, Forms, Print Programs → Define Shop Papers.

In the standard, the name in the field of the output program, that determines the underlying print program, is RIPRxxxx for plant maintenance and customer service, RQQMxxxx for quality management. You can find further information on print programs under

To do this, select Print Control → Define Shop Papers, Forms, Print Programs → Assign Permitted Shop Papers.
Define the shop papers to be printed depending on the user and specify how a shop paper should be output:
The shop paper will be printed on the printer that is defined by the administrators.
Enter the country code and the fax number for this.

For this select Print Control → Define Printer → Set User-Specific Print Defaults. These settings are default values and can be changed during printing.
Using the print diversion, define special printers and print parameters for individual shop papers depending on certain field contents.
Select Print Control → Define Printer → Define Print Diversion and in a further step Print Diversion According to Field Contents.
This means that only the operations or components, that do not yet have the status printed, are printed.
To do this, select Define Shop Papers, Forms, Print Programs → Define Shop Papers. Enter O for orders as the application area.
For this select Print Control → Activate Printing in Online Processing.
If you activate online processing, all the shop papers from the dialog program and not from the update program are printed. The settings that you make apply to all the clients.
You should use online printing only for test purposes, for example, for in-house development of print programs.
