Find Material Using Classes

Use

In structural displays for technical objects, you can use classes to display materials that are used in the structure and the lower-level structures.

Prerequisite

Materials must be displayed in the structural display.

Features

The system reads all classes for the classified and visible materials that are used in the expanded lower-level structures, and displays these classes in a dialog box.

Select a class and the system lists all the materials which are assigned to that class. The system also displays the characteristic valuations for the materials.

If you perform the structural display for the order processing, you can select the material found and copy it into the order.
