Barcode Parser
You use the BARCODE_PARSER
hook point activity to parse two-dimensional (2D) barcodes when shop floor operators scan barcodes on documents, tags, packaging, or components
to populate data about a material. For more information, see Two-Dimensional (2D) Barcode Scanning.
You can associate this activity either with a material using the Assembly Pt Parsing Activity
field on the Build
tab page of Material Maintenance
or with the PARSE_COMPONENT
hook
point at site level (on the Activity Hooks
tab page of Site Maintenance
).
