Background documentationMaintain Floor Stock

You use this activity to edit existing inventory ID records (see Inventory ID).

It also sends messages to SAP ERP, if the floor stock material has been automatically received from SAP ERP (see Transfer of Floor Stock Return and Scrap Data and Transfer of Floor Stock Storage Location Movements).

Prerequisites

You have created inventory IDs in Floor Stock Receipt if the SAP ME ERP integration is not used (see Floor Stock Receipt).

Rules

The following table describes rules and settings that you can change for this activity (MAINT_INV) in Activity Maintenance:

When the user edits the Maximum Floor Life value for any inventory ID, the Maximum Floor Life value is validated as not exceeding the shelf life expiration date.
