TSM Tab

You use this tab page to define settings for time-sensitive materials (see Time-Sensitive Materials).

Prerequisites

You have entered Purchased or Manufactured/Purchased in the Type field and selected the TSM (Time-Sensitive Material) checkbox on the Main tab page of Material Maintenance.

Fields

The following table describes fields requiring explanation:

Field	Description
Max Shelf Life	The maximum length of time the material can be stored, during which the defined quality remains acceptable to be consumed
Units	Unit values that you can specify for maximum shelf life of the material: Days (default), Months
Max Floor Life	The maximum length of time the material can be exposed to an uncontrolled environment Note The Maximum Floor Life value must not exceed the Maximum Shelf Life value. End of the note.
Units	Unit values you can specify for the material's maximum floor life: Minutes, Hours, Days (default), or Months
