  Deleting Funds Centers in a Hierarchy Variant Locate this document in the navigation structure

Use

You use this program to delete the hierarchical structure of the funds centers of a hierarchy variant. Furthermore, all assignments from the hierarchy variant for fiscal years are deleted.

The hierarchy variant key created in Customizing remains created. You can use the key to create a new hierarchy variant.

If you want to delete the master record of an individual funds center, then you can execute this with the function Change/Display Funds Center

Prerequisites

If the hierarchy variant is already assigned to an FM area/fiscal year, then the following prerequisites must be fulfilled in order to be able to execute the deletion program.

  • No funds centers have been budgeted for.

  • No postings yet made to the funds centers.

  • The funds centers are not yet used in a budget structure

Procedure

You run the deletion program in Customizing for Funds Management Government under   Master Data   Deleting Master Data   Delete Funds Centers of a Hierarchy Variant.
