Change Logs for Budget and Posting Addresses 
Use
You can activate a change log in order to obtain history records for all changes made to the budget structure. You can also use change logs to keep track of deletions in the budget structure.
Note
Activation of a change log influences the performance of the generation and maintenance transactions for all budget and posting addresses, as well as the deletion and copying of a budget structure. Furthermore, activating a change log affects the reconstruction of the budget structure index and automatically generates a change document when the budget structure index is updated.

Display Change Log.
In order to display change logs for posting addresses, go to the same menu area for Posting Addresses .
In order to delete a change log, access the IMG under the menu path specified under Prerequisites .
After you run the report, t he number of deleted records and the change history tables are displayed.
