Use

Using the program Generate Planning Data , you can copy the budget or planning data of a budget version or plan version to a version that you want to use for planning. You use this program to:

In principle, you can only generate (budget) planning data in the target version using the budgeting process Preparation .

Integration

Deleting Planning Data

If a version already contains planning data by mistake which must be deleted before the new planning data is created, you can delete this data from the database using the program Reset Plan Data .

Creating Budget Data

If you want to use planning data as budget data for budget execution in planning, execute the program Create Budget Data . You can find more information under Creating Budget Entry Documents from Planning/Budget Data .

Prerequisites

Planning data is permitted in the (target) version if you set the indicator Plan for the respective version. You define this setting in Customizing of Funds Management, under  Budget Control System (BCS) Budgeting Definition of Budget Data Edit Versions .

Activities

You create and reset planning data in the Funds Management menu under  Budgeting Budget Control System (BCS) Tools Planning Generate Planning Data or Reset Plan Data .
