Key Figures for Distributable Budget

The key figures Distributable and Distributable hierarchically are available for the annual budget, the overall budget and the period budget.

The key figure Distributable indicates for an individual budget structure element (BS element) how much of the budget can still be distributed. This is based on the difference between the current budget and the budget already distributed.

The key figure Distributable hierarchically , on the other hand, indicates for a superior BS element the sum of the distributed values of those BS elements directly subordinate to it.

Why is the key figure Distributable hierarchically required? required?

When using key figure Distributable , a hierarchy is represented by the top node until a BS element is specified.

If, for example, you display the funds center hierarchy in the drilldown list, but the characteristic commitment item has not yet had a value specified, the distributable value of the funds center will result from the sum of all values which have been posted to the top commitment items and each funds center.

If the entire budget has been distributed downward from the top commitment items, a distributable budget of 0 is indicated for each funds center even though there is distributable budget in subordinate commitment items. The key figure Distributable hierarchically allows for an overview of how much budget is still distributable for a funds center and all commitment items.
