Creating Primary and Secondary NC Codes

Procedure

Creating Primary NC Codes

In NC Code Maintenance, create or retrieve the NC code to be a primary code (see NC Code Maintenance).
On the Main tab page, select the Can Be Primary Code checkbox.
On the Secondaries tab page, move the secondary NC codes you want on the next level to the Valid Secondaries list.

Creating Secondary NC Codes

In NC Code Maintenance, create or retrieve the NC code to be a secondary code.
On the Main tab page, ensure that the Can Be Primary Code checkbox is deselected.
Retrieve the primary code you want to associate the secondary with, and move the secondary NC code to the Valid Secondaries list on the Secondaries tab page.
