iTicker Ticker Area

You can use the properties in the table below to configure the general parameters and behaviors of your SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (SAP MII) tickers. For more information, see iTicker.

Features

The following table lists the iTicker area properties:

Property Name	Parameter Name	Data Type	Use
Text Color	`TextColor`	Color	Sets the color of the text. Color-context highlighting may override this color.
Background Color	`BackgroundColor`	Color	Sets the background color of the iTicker object.
Include Column Names	`IncludeColumnNames`	Boolean	If this checkbox is selected, column names are displayed in the ticker with the values. It is useful when you display current values from a Tag connector.
Color by Column	`ColorByColumn`	Boolean	If this checkbox is selected, context-sensitive colors are applied to each column or value. If the checkbox is not selected, colors are applied to the entire row.
User Locale Format	`UseLocaleFormat`	Boolean	If you select this checkbox, the date and time values displayed in the applet time bar are based on the user's locale format.
Date Format	`DateFormat`	String	Determines how date and time columns are displayed in the ticker.
Number Format	`NumberFormat`	String	Determines how floating point values are displayed in the ticker.
Show Times in Server Time Zone	`UseServerTimeZone`	Boolean	If you do not have this checkbox selected, the system displays times in the client's time zone.
Number of Cell Padding Spaces	`PadSpaces`	Integer	Determines the number of blank spaces between items in the ticker.
Scroll Delay	`ScrollDelay`	Integer	Sets the scroll speed. It should be set between 20 and 60.
Font	`FontFace`	String	Defines the font of the text. You can choose any font that is available on your client system and the server.
Font Size	`FontSize`	Integer	Sets the size of the text.
Font Style	`FontStyle`	Integer	Sets the style of the text. You can choose: 0 (normal) 1 (bold) 2 (italic) 3 (bold italic)
Border Color	`BorderColor`	Color	Defines the color of the border.
Border Width	`BorderWidth`	Integer	Defines the size of the border.

Activities

You can set these properties for your ticker template on the Ticker Areascreen in the SAP MII Workbench and change the parameter values for individual applets through scripting.
