Set/Reset Completion Indicator 
You set an earmarked fund or a document line item to Complete if you want to return unused amounts of earmarked funds to the budget.
You reset the complete indicator if unused amounts of earmarked funds are to reclaim budget.
You can set a document or a document item to complete in the change function of the document, or mark a document that is not completely reduced as complete in the reducing document.
You can also use the following programs to complete earmarked funds:
Complete line items for earmarked funds (RFFMERLK)
Complete entire document for earmarked funds (RFFMERKK)

If you want to set an earmarked funds to Complete in the reducing Financial Accounting document (invoice or parked document), the field Complete in the coding block must be ready for input. You enter the required settings in the Financial Accounting Customizing in step Maintain field status variants. In this step, you must flag additional account assignments Complete earmarked funds as an optional entry.
Note
It is not possible to set a funds reservation to Complete from a purchase requisition or purchase order. This also applies when the field Complete is displayed and is ready for input.

Reset the complete indicator for a document item. If the entire document was set to Complete , you must first reset the completed indicator in the document header before you can reset it at item level. |
If you set the whole document or individual document items to “complete”, this has the following effects:
The document is no longer changeable
This document can no longer be referred to during the posting procedure.
If all the document items have not yet been entirely exhausted by follow-on documents (for example funds commitment, invoice), the assigned funds are taken back. The assigned value of the respective FM account assignment is reduced accordingly.
Note
If a document, (for example a vendor invoice or down payment request) was reversed, from which earmarked funds were flagged as Complete , the completion indicator for the earmarked funds is not reset automatically again.
