Transfer of Production Order with BOM Component Work Instructions
This function lets you transfer a production order with references to work instructions attached to the BOM components from SAP ERP to view BOM component work instructions in SAP ME (see Work Instruction).
Prerequisites
In SAP ME, you have assigned the
BOM Component Viewer
(BOM_COMP_VIEWER
) activity to the POD in SAP MEPOD Maintenance
(see BOM Component Viewer and POD Maintenance).In SAP ERP, you have activated enhancement implementation
CO_MES_BOM_DOCUMENTS
for the Business Add-In (BAdI) that allows you to enhance the production orderIDoc LOIPRO

Activities
You attach work instructions as documents from the Document Management System (DMS) to the corresponding BOM components (transaction
CS02
).You create a production order either manually (transaction
CO01
) or update the existing production order (transactionCO02
) (see Creating a Production Order).When you save a released production order in SAP ERP, the data is automatically distributed based on the DRF filter settings. If the enhancement implementation
CO_MES_BOM_DOCUMENTS
is active, the production order IDoc is enriched with the work instruction on the BOM component level.SAPMEINT creates the
