Prerequisites

To classify master data objects, you must carry out the following steps:

Define characteristics and characteristic values allowed.

Define classes and assign characteristics to these classes.

Assign one or more classes to the master data objects (such as commitment items) and the desired characteristic values to the master data objects.

You define the characteristics and classes in the classification system.

For this, choose  Logistics CentralFunctions Variant Configuration Environment Classification.

Procedure

To carry out the classification system functions, choose  Accounting Public Sector Management Funds Management , then  Master Data Classification .

 To assign classes and characteristic values to master data objects, chooseExtras Classificationon the maintenance screen of the required master record.
