  Master Data Indexes Locate this document in the navigation structure

Use

You use master data indexes to obtain an overview of the master data that has been created. You can also use master data indexes to display the assignments of commitment items to G/L accounts or to determine which FM account assignments have budget memos.

Features

The following types of master data indexes are available:

  • Lists sorted alphabetically

  • Hierarchy graphics for funds centers and commitment items and the budget structure

  • Graphical representation of the budget structure

  • FM account assignments with budget memos

    The FM account assignments with budget memos can be displayed, if budget memos have been assigned to these FM account assignments (cover eligibility rule)

  • Assignments ofcommitment items to G/L accounts

    Assignments of commitment items to G/L accounts can be displayed if you have:

    • Either maintained G/L account determination in the Customizing of Funds Management Government ; (this setting is only necessary if you are using requests)

    • Or defined the commitment items in the G/L account

      Note Note

        You can display the assignments of FM account assignments (commitment item, fund center, fund, functional area) to master data objects in other components (such as cost element, cost center, G/L account) that you have defined with master data maintenance, by choosing Assignments   Edit Account Assignment Derivation   .

Activities

For all the master data indices, choose   Accounting   Public Sector Management   Funds Management   Information System   Master Data Indices   .

Note Note

To improve system performance, your selection should be as specific as possible. If you do not make any selections, the system evaluates the whole hierarchy.
