Background documentationSFC Unscrap/Undelete

You use this activity to remove the Scrapped or Deleted status from SFC numbers so they can be used in production.

When an SFC number is unscrapped or undeleted, its status is changed back to the status it had before it was scrapped or deleted. The SFC number is placed in a queue at the steps where it was in a queue when it was scrapped or deleted.

You cannot unscrap or undelete SFC numbers already archived because archiving removes them from the WIP database. You can use Archive to return archived SFC numbers to the WIP database, including scrapped and deleted SFC numbers (see Archiving). When the scrapped or deleted SFC numbers are back in the WIP database, you can unscrap or undelete them.

If you have scrapped a Done SFC number that has an inventory ID (for example, using As-Built Configuration), and now you want to unscrap this scapped SFC number, you must adjust the value of Qty on Hand manually in Maintain Floor Stock because the system does not return the scrapped quantity to Qty on Hand of this inventory ID (see As-Built Configuration and Maintain Floor Stock).
