Function documentationRelaxed Routing Flow Restrictions

While relaxed routing flow allows greater flexibility with non-serialized SFCs, there are some restrictions in the creation of such routings. These restrictions are as follows.

Once you release SFCs to a routing whose Relaxed Routing Flow checkbox has been selected, you cannot deselect the checkbox.

A routing with relaxed routing flow must be one of the following routing types:

  • Production Routing

  • SFC-Specific Routing

  • Shop Order Specific Routing

A routing with relaxed routing flow cannot contain:

  • An Any Order Group

  • A Simultaneous Group with a successor

  • Duplicate operations

  • A Hold step with future hold

  • An embedded (nested) routing

  • A step with the Next Operator queue decision

  • A Return step
