You can use this component to request, approve, and execute changes to the data, as well as replicate those changes to decentralized systems by means of enterprise services. You can influence the flow of this process by selecting a workflow. The available workflow templates can be found under Workflow Templates for Financials.

Features

The management of master data usually follows the pattern below:

  1. You create an edition (see Processing of an Edition).

    If you are using Master Data Governance for Financials for the first time, you can use the File Upload function to populate your database tables.

  2. You create a change request (see Creation of a Change Request).

  3. The change request undergoes an approval procedure. You can use the function Processing of a Change Request.

  4. You execute the master data change (see Master Data Processing).

  5. You replicate the changes (see Data Replication).
