This business function enables you to govern supplier data and to replicate the supplier master data to different client systems. In comparison to the predecessor business function MDG_ERP_SUPPLIER_2 additional tables of the data model for supplier are taken into account.

Features

The Master Data Governance for Supplier 6.1 business function offers the following features:

Extended Business Partner Data Model
Three Categories of Business Partner including persons and groups are supported with category specific attributes:
- Organization
- Person
- Group
Business Partner Relationships are supported to reflect specific types of business connection between business partners.
Extended Supplier Data Model
The Supplier Data Model has been extended to include the following data, all oriented to the ERP Vendor Master:
- Dunning Areas
  Dunning data for multiple dunning areas can be maintained.
- Withholding Tax Types
  Extended withholding tax has to be activated per company code. Multiple withholding tax types can be maintained.
- Purchasing Organization Data 2
  Deviating purchasing data depending on sub-range or plant are supported. The sub-range can be added within supplier maintenance.
- Partner Functions
  Partner Functions can be added depending on purchasing organization and optionally on sub-range and plant.
Governance Scope: Deactivate Entity Types and Fields
The Governance Scope allows to put only parts of the data model under governance. It provides the flexibility to exclude entity types or fields from the governance process and allows to maintain these fields in the local systems. The master data administrator defines which entity types or fields are under governance.
Role Specific UI: Lean Request for ERP Vendor
The Lean Request for ERP Vendor offers an easy UI for requestors that contains the basic data only. All data are on one screen, navigation to detail screens is not required. This enables even occasional users without ERP experience to submit a change request for the creation of a new supplier.
