You can use this business function to improve the governance process for your material master data.

This business function provides a new multiple-record processing function for material, DMS integration, an enhanced search results list with new display and navigation options, an extended data model, and enhanced print forms.

Integration

As with previous MDG-M business functions, Master Data Governance for Material 4 must be used together with the SAP ERP material master to improve data quality and transparency. The SAP ERP material master serves as the active area for Master Data Governance for Material.

You must set up DMS (Document Management System) in order to access the DMS integration features.
