Use

Each user of the Offline Travel Expenses application must also have a user in the SAP R/3 system

with the appropriate authorizations. You must make certain settings for these

users.

 

Prerequisites

You have created a user in SAP R/3 for each user in the Offline Travel Expenses application.

For more information about user maintenance, see the SAP Library under Basis ® Computing Center Management Systems (BC-CCM) ® Users and Roles (BC-CCM-USR) ® Creating and Maintaining User Master Records.

 

Activities

 

The user settings for Offline Travel Expenses are made in three steps:

 

Link Personnel Number to User Name

  1. Create infotype Communication (0105), subtype System user name for SAP system (SY-UNAM) (0001) for the personnel number required.
  2. Enter the user name in the ID/Number field.
  3. Save your entries.

 

Define Travel Privileges for Personnel Number

  1. Create infotype Travel Privileges (0017) for the personnel number required.
  2. Enter the information required.
  3. Save your entries.

 

Assign Authorization for Data Synchronization

You require authorization for authorization object S_ME_SYNC (Mobile Engine: Synchronization of Offline Applications) with activity 38 (execute).
