Information: Hotel Availability: Hotel List (Hotel Catalog)
In the
Hotel Availability: Hotel List (Hotel Catalog) you can see the hotels entered in the hotel catalog for your company for the selected location. Regarding the information on the availability of the hotels, a distinction must be made depending on which external reservation system you have a connection with:If your connection is with Amadeus, the query is executed in the hotel catalog first without checking availability in the reservation system. The system checks to see which hotels are defined for the relevant location in the hotel catalog and displays all of these hotels. You can now pick a hotel, the system will then start the availability query with Amadeus automatically.
If you use Sabre, a one-step query process takes place. The system checks the hotel catalog and queries the hotels found there directly in the reservation system as well. The system only returns available hotels.

Negotiated hotel rates |
If your company or your travel agency has negotiated special rates with hotel chains and they are stored in the Cusomizing settings, the rate codes are displayed here. In an availability query the system checks to see if negotiated rates are known by the reservation system and if there are offers that correspond with these rates. Hotels for which a negotiated rate applies are indicated with an icon in the list. The rate that applies in each case can be seen in the quick info text that appears when you leave the cursor on the relevant icon for a few seconds. |
Price limit |
If a price limit has been stored in your Customizing settings, the maximum amount that must/should not be exceeded for an overnight stay at the selected location is displayed here. The price limit is not yet applied in the display of hotels in the hotel list. When the room list is displayed, however, the price limit is considered in the way specified in your Customizing settings. Therefore, in the availability list, rooms priced higher than the maximum amount can be:

Standard query |
You can use this pushbutton to start a standard query, excluding consideration of the enterprise-specific hotel catalog. The Hotel Availability: Hotel List dialog box then appears. |
Room prices |
The highest and the lowest price for a room available in the hotel are displayed. |
Currency for room price |
The room prices for usage of the reservation system Amadeus are displayed in hotel currency, for usage of Sabre in the currency used by the travel agency. |
