On the front-end server, you have to install the KPI Modeler product, which contains the UI components for:

  • KPI modeler tool

    You can use the KPI modeler tool to define your own KPIs or adapt predefined KPIs to your requirements.

  • KPI tile

    The KPI tile is required by all analytical apps to display KPIs using a standard design.

  • Generic drill-down application

    The generic drill-down application provides a standard infrastructure to display the KPI data and to navigate to detail views. To download and install the KPI Modeler component, you have to use the Maintenance Optimizer in SAP Solution Manager. Maintenance Optimizer in SAP Solution Manager is the central point of access for all maintenance activities. It supports the installation of updates and upgrades and completely manages the maintenance activities for your whole solution, and is centrally accessible from inside SAP Solution Manager.
