Working with the Drill-Down Sequence

In the Supply Projection, Stock Coverage and Forecast Accuracy applications, you work with the Drill-Down Sequence as follows:

  1. In the first field with the text Choose attribute..., specify the first attribute based on which you want to drill down.

    Note Note

    At this point, the system does not let you choose a value for the attribute.

  2. The system lists your selection grouped according to the attribute you specified.

  3. In the second field with the text Choose attribute..., specify the attribute based on which you want to drill down.

  4. Select a value for the first attribute in the field with the text Choose value....

    Note Note

    You can select a value for each attribute but the last one in the drill-down sequence.

  5. Specify the next attribute based on which you want to drill down.

  6. Select a value for the next attribute in the field with the text Choose value....

Alternatively, you can specify the whole drill-down sequence and then choose values for the attributes you selected, except for the last attribute, for which the system does not let you select a value.

If you want to remove a drill-down level, click the x in the relevant attribute field.

If you want to remove an attribute value, click the x in the relevant value field.

Note Note

If you remove an attribute value, the system removes the attribute values to the right of the removed value.

Moving in the Drill-Down Sequence

To move along in your drill-down sequence in the Supply Projection and Stock Coverage applications, click the link Next Level.

To move along in the drill-down sequence in the Forecast Accuracy application, proceed as follows:

  1. In the DRILL-DOWN VIEW SETTINGS screen area, in the Settings for Pie Chart field, specify the items for which you want to display in the pie chart the number of items below the threshold you specify in the GENERAL SETTINGS screen area for the specific KPI.

    Example Example

    For example, if you choose Brand, the system displays the number of brands with forecast accuracy below the threshold grouped by the last drill-down attribute for which no value has been selected.

  2. You can move to the next level of the drill-down in one of the following ways:

    • Click the line in the bar chart that has the value you want to use in the drill-down sequence

    • Click the segment of the pie chart that has the value you want to use in the drill-down sequence

    • Specify a value for the attributes using the fields with the text Choose value....

  3. The bar chart, pie chart, and the drill-down sequence are updated with the value you specified.

  4. When you get to the last level of the drill-down sequence, in other words, when there is one attribute left for which no value has been specified, clicking the bars of the bar chart or segments of the pie chart navigate you to the Detailed View.
