If your app uses a KPI tile, you can define new KPIs or adapt predefined KPIs to determine what information is displayed and how it is visualized in the tile. To enable users to model KPIs based on their requirements, SAP provides the KPI Modeler tool.
You can model your own KPIs according to your business needs and activate them. SAP also delivers predefined KPIs which do need modeling but which do not need activation as they are delivered in an active state.
For the information if your app uses a KPI tile or not, see the app-specific documentation in the section SAP Fiori Apps.
You have installed the KPI Modeler product on the front-end server and set up the database tables that are required by the KPI Modeler on the SAP HANA server.
Your SAP HANA user is assigned the role sap.hba.apps.kpi.s.roles::SAP_SMART_BUSINESS_MODELER.
From your reverse proxy, open the KPI Modeler at the URL /sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/ca_kpi/modeler/index.html.
