Note
This app runs on desktops and tablets.
To access and calculate key performance indicators, the app uses the following app-specific query views:
UserProfileParameterQuery
Retrieves master data for user profile parameters, such as controlling area (CAC) and cost element group (KAG)
ProfitabilityAnalysisQuery
Retrieves cost and revenue data
Calculates net margin and net profit
Calculates the difference between planned and executed amounts
WaterfallProfitabilityAnalysisQuery

To determine net margin and net profit information, the app applies the following calculation rule:
Calculation rule for net margin and net profit
Based on a standard business calculation formula, this rule includes only the accounts assigned to the cost element hierarchy that the user defines. For more information, see the app-specific configuration requirements.
The following constraints apply to certain types of data within the app:
Fiscal period is based on months only (instead of calendar week, for example).
Amounts are taken from the controlling area currency (instead of object currency, for example).
The app allows you to directly access other apps.
Note
These linked apps must either already be available in your system landscape, or you need to implement them along with this app.
The app consists of front-end components and back-end components. The back-end and the front-end components are delivered in separate products and have to be installed in a system landscape that is enabled for SAP Fiori.
