 Calculation of Ratio of Payments Within Terms and Beyond Terms Locate this document in the navigation structure

In the Days Beyond Terms app, on the Ratio of Payments Within Terms / Beyond Terms drill-down, you can see the ratio between payments made within terms and payments made beyond terms as a percentage value. For each month the payment amounts are multiplied by the days within/beyond terms and added together. This total is used to calculate the percentages.

Note Note

Although days within terms are displayed in the app with preceding minus signs, for the purposes of this calculation the days within terms are regarded as being positive numbers.

End of the note.

Example

Payments

1000 paid 10 days late (beyond terms): 1000 x 10 = 10000

1000 paid 5 days early (within terms): 1000 x 5 = 5000

Total = 10000 + 5000 = 15000

Ratio:

(10000 / 15000) x 100 = 66.67% beyond terms

(5000 / 15000) x 100 = 33.33% within terms
