Assign RFC Authorization to UserLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

If the OData back-end service is located on a remote back end, users need permission to perform the RFC call on the back-end system.

Prerequisites

You have created a user on the front-end system.

Procedure

  1. In the User Maintenance transaction (SU01) under Start of the navigation path Information Next navigation step Information System End of the navigation path, check if the user has the required authorizations S_RFC and S_RFCACL for trusted RFC.

  2. If the user does not have the authorizations, assign a role including the RFC authorization objects S_RFC and S_RFCACL to the back-end user that corresponds to the front-end user.
