 Tool Installation Information

 

Each SAP Fiori app consists of front-end components (such as the user interfaces) and back-end components (such as the OData service).

Prerequisites

Before you install this tool, ensure that your system landscape has been set up to enable SAP Fiori and that the corresponding back-end components of the delivered apps are already available on your back-end server:

The delivery unit is part of the SAP HANA CONTENT TOOLS 1.0 SP 10.

  • Installation of SAP HANA DB SPS08 and lower

    1.     2. Download the zip files for the SAP HANA Live installation you require.

    3. As the SYSTEM user in the SAP HANA studio, right-click the server node in the navigation pane, and select Lifecycle Management.

    4. Select Deploy HANA Content under Manage SAP HANA Applications Content.

    5. On the screen Deploy SAP HANA Content, choose the option From an accessible share or From a Personal Computer.

    6. Under Path of remote HANA content ZIP archive, browse to the zip files you have downloaded. You can select and deploy only one zip file at a time. Choose Next.

      Ensure the correct installation sequence.

    7. When you are done, choose Run.

    8. Repeat steps 5, 6 and 7 for each SAP HANA Live product you want to install.

  • Installation as of SAP HANA DB SPS09

    1.     2. Download the zip files for the SAP HANA Live installation you require.

    3.     4. 4. Using hdbalm, install all the SAP HANA Live products you require.   • Assigning Roles

    In the SAP HANA studio, navigate to the Security folder, search for a user and assign the developer or business role.

    • Technical name of developer role: sap.hba.explorer.roles::Developer

    • Technical name of business user role: sap.hba.explorer.roles::Business

Installation of Front-End Component

The front-end component UISAFND1 1.0 is installed automatically.
