Procedure

Requestors can make requests to change their own existing accounts or, depending on how security is defined, they can make requests to change existing accounts for other users.

Follow the procedure below to change a user account.

  1. Navigate to   My Work   Create Request  .

    The Create Request screen appears

  2. From the Request Type dropdown list, choose Change Account.

    Enter the user information for the account that you want to change.

  3. Fill in the information as indicated in the table below, and then choose Submit.

    The request is automatically routed to a workflow for approval.

    Select the appropriate entry in the dropdown list. The possible values are configurable.

    Select the functional area that applies to the requestor. The possible values are configurable.

    Choose the magnifying glass to select the application for which access is requested.

    Request Reason

    Enter the reason for your request.

    User Information / User Data

    Enter the information below for the person on whose behalf you are requesting access.

    Enter the date range within which access should be granted for the user.

    User Information / Requestor and Manager Data

    In these fields, enter the information for yourself or whoever is making the request.

    Additional User Information / Advanced Options

    Here, you can select a specific business process to apply to this request. Choose it from the Business Process dropdown list, and complete the related fields.

    Choose a User Validity Start Date and a User Validity End Date using the calendar icons. These dates specify the time range when the access is valid.

    Customized Information

    Here, you can add customized fields.

    SNC

    Here, you can enter an SNC name. Next, you can select Yes or No from the dropdown list for the option: Unsecured Logon Allowed (SNC)

    Enter Yes to allow th is user to have an unsecured logon.

    Continue pushbutton; Cancel pushbutton

    Choose Continue to save your entries and return to the Create Request main page.

    Choose Cancel to clear the additional page and return to the Create Request main page.

  4. If you wish to select roles, choose Select Roles.

    • If a new role needs to be added to the user access, select Business Process, sub Process, and so on, to whichever the role belongs, or else enter the   Role Name   Go  .

      Select the desired roles, and then choose  Add   Submit  .

    • If an existing role needs to be changed, select the Existing Roles pushbutton.

      On the list of roles that display, select the role that needs to be changed. Make the change and choose   Add   Submit  .
