To set an alert notification:
Navigate to
to define Administrators. Administrators can be risk owners, mitigation approvers or mitigating monitors, or any combination of these roles.Select the appropriate risk owners from the dropdown list on the Edit Risk screen, Risk Owners tab.
Select the appropriate monitor in a mitigation control, define the Action and Frequency (days)
While in the Configuration tab, expand Background Job
Select Alert Generation
Select Generate Action Log
Select the SAP system where transactional data should be captured to generate alerts, for example, the R3 Production system.
This system must have a connector configured.
Check the appropriate items for which to generate alerts

To send e-mail notifications to risk owners or mitigation approvers, select the appropriate items in the Alert Notification section
Choose Schedule.
Enter a Job Name, such as “Alert Generation.
Select Delayed Start and enter the time you wish this job to run each day
Select Daily in the Period Selection section.
Choose Schedule.
Upon successful completion, the following message displays: Background job scheduled successfully, Job ID: XX
