Procedure

Role Approvers reaffirm roles with dates that have expired.

The reaffirm dates are initially set by the System Administrator, using the Configuration Module. In the   Roles   Create Roles   screen, the administrator should have defined a specific time period in which the role needs to be reaffirmed.

  1. On the My Work tab, choose Role Reaffirm.

    The Role Reaffirms screen appears.

  2. In the System field, choose the dropdown menu to select a system name.

    A list of role names appears in the list.

  3. Select a User ID for which you want to change the status by performing the following actions: Approve, Remove, or Hold.

  4. Choose one of the following action pushbuttons: Approve, Remove, or Hold.

    The Comment screen appears.

  5. Enter a comment, then choose the corresponding action pushbutton.

    The Role Reaffirm screen reappears with a success message shown at the top of the page.

    Note Note

    The User ID’s status has changed based on the action selected. If you have approved the entire list of User IDs, the Roles are reaffirmed.
