Approvers can put access requests on hold to allow further investigation of the request details, or to apply mitigation controls to the request.

You can place the access request on hold to investigate the role assignment or SoD violations.
The ability to place an access request on hold is a configuration option.
Requests on Hold allows you to view all the requests that you put on hold for processing at a later time. From here, you can select a request from the display list and perform the appropriate action.
Follow the steps below to put a request on hold.
On the My Work tab, choose Request for Approval.
Select the request that you want to put on hold. The Request Number XXX screen appears.
Choose Hold.
Note
Once you choose Hold, the system puts the request on hold. There is no confirmation screen.
After being placed on Hold, the request no longer appears on the Request for Approval screen and is visible on the Request On Hold screen.
Here, Approvers can view only their own on-hold requests.
You can use the Search Request screen to view requests that were placed on hold by other Approvers, or by you. You search for requests and in the results display you can view the Status column to confirm the status.
To access your own held requests, choose
.The List of Requests screen displays requests that you put on hold.
Select the request that you want. The Request Number XXX screen appears.
You have the following options:
Approve the request
Reject the request
Continue to Hold the request
Run Risk Analysis
Select Roles
Select PD Profiles
Reroute the request
Check the Existing Roles that are assigned to the request
ChooseDownload to store this request on your local system.
Choose Print to print this request.
