Procedure

The Access Requests Management Reports screen contain two reports:

  • Access Requests

    This is a report in a spreadsheet view that displays the total number of requests grouped by request type or by request status.

  • Requests by Type

    This is a graphical view

  1. To generate an Access Request by request type report, expand the Chart View and choose Access Requests.

    Select your parameters in the Access Requests section according to the instructions below.

    Required fields vary based on your company’s individual requirements.

    Parameter

    Description

    Start Date / End Date

    Use the calendar icon to select the start date and the end date of the date range that you want to report on.

    System

    If you want to report on a specific system, select it from the list.

    Request Type

    If you want to report on a specific request type, select it from the list.

    Priority

    If you want to report on a specific request priority, select it from the list.

    Functional Area

    If you want to report on a specific functional area, select it from the list.

    Workflow Type

    If you want to report on a specific workflow type, select it from the list.

    Archived Requests

    If you want to include archived requests in the report, check this box.

  2. After you have selected the parameters for your report, choose Go to update the pie chart with the values from your query.

    Once the pie chart is updated, you may select any slice of the pie to drill down to the details of the requests that comprise that slice.

    The pie chart is a graphical representation of the number of requests that match your search criteria by request type.

Access Request by type bar graph

If you want to report on a specific status, select it from the dropdown list.

  1. The procedure for generating a Request by Type bar graph is the same as for the Access Request report except that you select your parameters from the Status dropdown list.

  2. When you have selected the parameters for your report, choose GO to update the bar graph with the values from your query.

  3. When the bar graph is updated, you may choose any bar to drill down to the details of the requests that comprise that bar.
