On the Role Owners screen, you can set up the criteria that assigns a particular user as a role owner for a particular task or object. For example, you can specify that all roles for financial processes must be approved by John Manager. You can specify the following:

  • That a task or object requires approval from a role owner

  • The role owner

  • The alternate role owner

  • The type of approval

You can use the functions on the Role Owner screen to complete the following tasks:

  • Create role owner criteria

  • Modify existing role owner criteria

  • Delete role owner criteria

  • Search for role owner criteria

  • Export results to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet
