The following applies for the status sequence:

1. When you create an engineering change request (ECR), you can, for the time being, only set a status from the ECR phase.

2. After you have converted the ECR to an ECO, you can set a status from the ECO phase. You can no longer set any status that is in the ECR phase at this point in the process.
