Features

Multicountry Requirements

These functions enable agents to enhance the configuration of payrolls for multiple countries.

  • The agent can assign the period modifiers to country grouping codes and thus organize them based on the country of the user. The values of period modifiers, for report RPUCTP00, are then selected by the agent based on these assignments. The system prevents payroll period entries, created for one country with report RPUCTP00, being overwritten or changed by an agent who is responsible for another country. The same period modifier can be used for more than one country grouping code and agents can link a country grouping code to more than one period modifier.

  • The agent can map symbolic accounts to country grouping codes. These assignments are used to ensure that only symbolic accounts are available for the country grouping of the user.

  • The agent can assign UGR parameters to specific country grouping codes. They can then organize the infotype menus and the infotypes derived from the user groups obtained from this view, based on the country of the employee they are processing when using transactions PA30 or PA40.This allows HR administrators to support master data maintenance for employees of multiple countries.

Payroll Scheduling

This function enables payroll managers to plan, execute, and monitor the process steps for a payroll, for multiple periods in advance. It can also be used to create dependencies between the activities in a payroll schedule and to monitor the status of a payroll schedule while it is being executed. It consists of three sub processes:

  • Schedule Definition.

The payroll manager can plan the process steps that make up the activities for payroll periods and other cyclic processes, like quarter end or year end reporting. They can establish rules for dependencies between process steps and create rules for planned date determination. It is also possible to amend certain dates.

  • Schedule Execution.

Payroll managers and payroll administrators can execute the activities defined in the schedule in accordance with their relative responsibilities.

  • Schedule Monitoring.

The payroll manager can monitor tasks that are defined in the payroll schedule and to check on their status and planned completion dates. They can also adjust the dates of planned activities.
