Perform Process 

Use

You can perform a process for a particular entry in the B2A Manager using this function (data received or sent using the internet).

The system thereby changes the status of the entry accordingly, for example, from new to in process.

Depending on the relevant authority, the data is encrypted when calling the function perform process, before it is transferred over the internet. You detect this with the message Encryption running... in the lower status aims.

A process can be single level or multilevel, depending on the authority.

¡        Example of a single level process:
With the email procedure, the data is sent as a file attachment to an authority. This means that the function perform process directly triggers a sending action over the internet.
The email procedure is, for example, used for data exchange with health insurance funds in Germany.

¡        Example of a multilevel process:
You request data for a particular entry from an authority using the perform process function. After you have received the data and, if necessary, processed it further, you execute the perform process function to send the desired data to the authority.

In the other options group, you can make certain settings for the perform process function.

¡        Log indicator:
If the log indicator is set, the individual steps of the function perform process  are recorded and finally output in a tree structure.
The log indicator is always set in the standard setting. You can, however, deactivate the indicator.


If the process contains errors, the log is always displayed, even if you have not set the indicator.

¡        Simulation indicator:
If the simulation indicator is set, all individual steps of the function perform process are executed, but not stored.
In particular, the status of the entry is not changed by the system during simulation and the process is not updated in the history.

If the communication method is via email, the recipient is replaced by the user’s email address during simulation. This means that an email is not sent to an authority.

 

Procedure

       1.      Select the desired entries and choose perform process.

 

Result

You have exchanged data electronically with the relevant authority using the B2A Manager.
