Item Data for the PO - Reactive Order Monitor (Quick Guide) 

Use

We would like to draw your attention to the functions and options named below, which are available in change mode. (There is a reduced set of functions available in display mode.)

Features

·        The system flags permitted and non-permitted activities with colored icons:

¡         with the quick info text Allowed

¡         with the quick info text Not Allowed

The following activities are available and their execution is described below:

¡         with the quick info text Date Shift

¡         with the quick info text Reminder

¡         with the quick info text Cancellation

·         with the quick info text Undo

You can undo an activity, for example, you can undo the setting of a completion indicator.

·         with the quick info text Set Completion Indicator

You can flag an item as completed. This just completes processing in the item in the application function, it does not change the status of the purchase order.

Date Shift

You execute the following activities for items in the Operational Date Overrun folder:

       1.      You select a row in the item data.

       2.      You choose  with the quick info text Shift Dates for Selected Item. The system opens the dateline in change mode.

       3.      You carry out the date shift in the dateline.

Reminder

You execute the following activities for items in the Reminder folder:

...

       1.      You select a row in the item data.

       2.      You choose  with the quick info text Send Reminder for Selected Item. The system opens the dateline in change mode.

       3.      You carry out the date shift in the dateline.

       4.      The system generates a message record for the reminder in the background.

Cancellation

You execute the following activities for items in the Cancellation folder:

...

       1.      You select a row in the item data.

       2.      You choose  with the quick info text Cancel Selected Item. The system sets the deletion flag.

You can also execute date shifts and reminders for items in the Cancellation folder.

Processing Remaining Quantities

You execute the following activities for items in the Underdelivery folder:

...

       1.      You select a row in the item data.

       2.      You choose  with the quick info text Cancel Remaining Quantity. The system sets the final delivery indicator.

       3.      You choose  with the quick info text Insist on Remaining Quantity. The system sets the final delivery indicator and generates a new item for the purchase order.
