Use

Value-Added Services uses the conditions technique to determine which VAS template corresponds to particular delivery or TR data. For instance, if you have defined a VAS template for a certain material and ship-to party, when a reference document item containing the material and ship-to party is checked, the system automatically creates one or more VAS orders based on the template.

Prerequisites

You have done the following:

...

       1.      Created VAS templates. For more information, see Creating a VAS Template.

       2.      Defined conditions for VAS template determination in Customizing for Logistics Execution Warehouse Management Value-Added Services VAS Template Determination. This involves defining the following:

Activities

...

       1.      The system takes one document item and runs it through the determination conditions.

       2.      The system selects one of the following, based on the determination records:

¡        The VAS template, when only one template is specified

¡        The highest-rated VAS template, when more than one template is specified

       3.      The system repeats steps 1-2 for every document item.
