Use

The system uses primary and secondary wage types. Secondary wage types are formed during the payroll run.

The primary wage types must be provided with values that can be used during the payroll run. To determine how wage types are valuated, access Customizing for Personnel Management and choose Personnel Administration → Payroll Data → <Infotype> → Wage Types → Check Wage Type Catalog → Check Wage Type Characteristics. The valuation of dialog wage types is different from the valuation of time wage types.
