Cross-Application Components (CA)

A function that enables you to make and process a request in the intranet or Internet, without knowledge of the SAP System.

An internal service request can be, for example:

• A search for a solution to a problem
• A request to change a budget (requires approval)
• A request to move offices (incurs costs)
