Automatic Creation of Outbound Delivery 

Use

This function automatically creates outbound deliveries in accordance with the delivery split criteria, for each stock transport order. SAP ERP forwards the outbound deliveries to SAP APO and SAP EWM. SAP EWM requires the outbound deliveries to create new warehouse requests, which are required to process stock transfers in the warehouse.

The system can create stock transport orders between plants that belong to the same company code or plants that belong to different company codes. If the plants involved belong to different company codes, the transfer between plants is also a transfer between company codes and is relevant for billing. The system therefore creates two accounting documents when the goods issue is posted, and the stock posting is offset against a company code clearing account.

Prerequisites

In Customizing for Logistics Execution, you have activated the automatic creation of outbound deliveries for stock transport orders by choosing Extended Warehouse Management Integration  →  Stock Transfers  →  Activate Automatic Delivery Creation for PO Type and Shipping Point.
